Speed the Light Opportunities
/PK and Heidi accept the “STL- ONE DAY” CHALLENGE!
Pastor Ken and Heidi have accepted the Speed the Light (STL) one day challenge to try to raise $1,000 each in one day to support our missionaries!
On Saturday, October 19th, Pastor Ken will be putting his weight training to use as he attempts to lift 1,000 lbs in 3 moves- bench press, squat, and dead lift. We would love for you to support his effort by 1) joining us at La Porte Assembly of God at 9am on that day to watch and cheer him on during the attempts and 2) by making a donation to our "STL- ONE DAY EVENT" fund!
On that same day, October 19th, Heidi, Michele Barrell and Myra Taylor will be heading out from La Porte Assembly at 6am to do a PRAYER WALK MARATHON. They will walk 26.2 miles around the city of La Porte, praying for our families, churches, city, and nation. We would love for you to support this effort by 1) joining us for 5, 3, or even 1 mile- whatever! (maps and arrival times are available by talking to any of us girls), and 2) by making a donation to our "STL- ONE DAY EVENT" fund!

STL T-SHIRTS ARE HERE!
Each year at LPAG we raise funds for Speed the Light. One easy way to give to either of these programs is to buy a “1 in 5,000” t-shirt. The Indiana District Youth Department has a goal of getting 5,000 people across the state to each donate $100 by buying one of their t-shirts. If you buy a t-shirt, you are 1 in 5,000! This is an awesome way to help missionaries around the world!
