When God Grants Me Another Chance (Part 1)
Jonah 3: 1 (ESV) Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time...
God takes pleasure in showing us mercy & grace
Proverbs 28: 13 (ESV) People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
Lamentations 3: 22 & 23 (ESV) The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
When God Grants Me Another Chance
1. Prioritize my mission.
2 Corinthians 6: 1 (NLT) As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it.
Acts 20: 24 (NLT) ...my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
Jonah 3: 1 & 2 (ESV) Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying, 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it the message that I tell you.”
Circumstances may change me, but my mission doesn't change.
Romans 11: 29 (ESV) ...the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
