The Coronavirus has created a situation that is fluid, with quick and frequent changes that are designed to provide us with the best practices for successfully navigating this virus.

La Porte Assembly desires  to be good citizens and do our part to help protect the health of our community. Current guidelines limit gatherings to 10 people of less.  For this reason, La Porte Assembly will not gather in our sanctuary until proper protocols allow.

This Sunday, March 22nd beginning at 9:30 am we are offering an at home opportunity for a “church” experience. We will post a link on this website to La Porte Assembly’s YouTube channel.  There you will discover a worship and teaching video that we’ve created.  Our desire is to maintain continuity in our connection with God and our church family. Pastor Ken and his team will lead a worship session. Pastor Roger will communicate valuable information detailing how we will do ministry moving forward. I will have a sermon for you to watch. 

A separate video from Pastor Ryan and his team will provide a family devotional experience for those of you with young children.  This is going to be an excellent opportunity to gather as families…to foster family time that is centered around God and His word!

In the days and the weeks ahead, we will make additional changes to accommodate the needs of our community.  As a staff, our priority is to minister to you.  Please feel free to contact us if we may be of any assistance to you.

Psalm 91 is an excellent passage to focus on during this unique time we’re living in.  Verse one says:

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
     will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

May you find your strength, comfort, hope and provision in Him!
