Plan Your Visit
We know visiting a church for the first time can feel like a big step. Our hope is that when you walk through the doors at La Porte Assembly, you’ll immediately feel welcomed and at home.
We’re a church made up of real people from every walk of life who are learning what it means to follow Jesus together. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just beginning to explore faith, you are welcome here.

📅 Sunday Service
9:30 AM
📍 La Porte Campus
244 E Boyd Blvd
La Porte, IN 46350
Our services last about 90 minutes and include heartfelt worship, prayer, and practical teaching from God’s Word.
We believe church should be a place where people grow in faith, build real relationships, and encounter the presence of God.
What to Expect
When you arrive, you’ll find a friendly team of greeters ready to welcome you and help you find your way around the building.
We are a casual and relaxed church. Some people dress up, but most people dress comfortably. Come as you are.
Before and after the service you’ll see people connecting, talking, and catching up with one another. Community is a big part of who we are, and we intentionally create space for people to build relationships.
During the service you can expect live worship led by a full worship team, prayer, and Bible-based teaching that connects God’s Word to everyday life.
Parking
We have a dedicated parking lot with an easy traffic flow when you arrive.
Once you park, simply head toward the main entrance and one of our greeters will help guide you if you need assistance.
Kids & Families
Families are incredibly important to us, and we work hard to create a safe, engaging, and faith-building environment for children.
Our Sunday morning kids ministry, K’nect 10, serves children from newborn through 5th grade.
Kids check-in begins at 9:15 AM.
When you arrive, simply walk down the hallway to the K’nect 10 check-in area where you can check your children in using our kiosk or with the help of one of our volunteers.
You and your child will receive matching identification stickers. This system helps us ensure every child is released safely. Be sure to keep your sticker with you, as it is required for pickup after the service.
Children experience their own worship and Bible teaching designed specifically for their age group in the Kids Worship Center.
Occasionally children will join the main service for special moments like baptisms or special services.
For safety, all children’s ministry volunteers are background checked and carefully screened.
After service, parents return to the children’s area to personally pick up their kids.
Communion
At La Porte Assembly we practice open communion.
If you have made a personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and are walking in fellowship with Him, you are welcome to participate. You do not need to be a member of our church.
Communion is not taken every week, but when our pastor feels led to lead the church in it.
A Church Built on Community
One of the things people notice quickly about La Porte Assembly is the sense of genuine community.
We believe church is more than a Sunday service — it’s people doing life together, encouraging one another, praying together, and growing in faith side by side.
That’s why we intentionally create space before, during, and after services for people to connect.
One Church. Two Locations. One Vision.
La Porte Assembly is one church family meeting in multiple locations.
In addition to our La Porte campus, we also have the Olive Chapel Campus serving the New Carlisle and Hudson Lake communities.
If you live closer to that area, you can learn more about Olive Chapel here:
We’d Love to Meet You
If you’re looking for a church where the Bible is taught, people genuinely care about one another, and faith is lived out in real life, we’d love to welcome you this Sunday.
